The background as a pressure vessel manufacturer has provided AREVA NP Uddcomb AB a wide knowledge in materials and welding technology.
The area of pulp digesters protected with our own developed method for overlay welding, the UDDCOMB METHOD®, has exceeded 12.000 m2 in digesters worldwide. Our overlay welding methods are being used also in other process industries.
AREVA NP Uddcomb AB is producing tubes, overlay welded with high alloy stainless steel and Ni-base material for corrosion protection of critical components.
AREVA NP Uddcomb AB is Sweden’s predominant supplier for manufacturing and installation of blast furnace renovations. We have performed the latest nine renovations.
We have supplied equipment for the manufacture of high voltage cables. These include impregnation vessels, turntables and vertical twisting machines. Our job commission included design, fabrication, delivery, installation and commission, trimming and the CE-label qualification of the equipment.
