EngineeringTechnical Centre Engineering provide the company with competencies and resources for:

  • Process analyses. Defintion of design bases for systems and components, via e.g. pressure drop calculations, and definition of reaction forces.
  • Structural analyses. Stress analyses, stability and frequnecy problems, non-linear analyses of limit-load conditions, transient elasto-plastic dynamic analyses, non-linear stability analyses, fracture machanics, etc.
  • Plant- and system design. General system- and process layout, analysis of the system function for operation and safety, development of e.g. break protection concept. Extensive pre-studies with development of layout concepts and basic dimensions.
  • Mechanical design. Components, equipments and their location in the plant are in focus. We prepare the complete basis for manufacturing and installation.
  • Welding & Material. Qualification of welding procedures and elaboration of complete solutions for advanced weld applications - where our accredited laboratory is an efficient support. Selection of base and filler material, development of weld systems, welding procedures and weld qualification programs, examination and analyses of defects associated to welding.

We use good state-of-the-art tools, such as 3D-CAD, FEM codes and special codes for piping calculations.
