The project was to weld overlay two of separator nozzles on an oil platform in the North Sea as a part of a life extension project. The nozzles, with an inner diameter of 154 mm, were overlay welded on the inside diameter with Alloy 625.

Our scope was mainly developing of weld procedures for mechanized MIG-welding, Semi Automatic TIG and manual welding, design and manufacturing of specialized mechanized weld heads, mobile machining, pre tests and finally the off shore site works. The off shore work was completed in one week total.
